Paggy D. Bell

Peggy Ann Dingess Bell, 72, of Virginia Street, died Monday, April 5, 2004 in Johnston Willis Medical Center in Richmond. She was born in Bernie, West Virginia and had been a resident of Hopewell since 1959. Ms. Bell was retired from Allied Chemical Corporation. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernie C. and Sadie R. Stowers Dingess, a granddaughter, Rachel Hawley and a brother, Billy Dingess. Ms. Bell is survived by her son, Terry Bell, a daughter, Brenda Birchett, both of Hopewell, grandchildren, Crystal Bell of Richmond, Terry Bell, Jr., Ricky Birchett and his wife, Melissa, all of Hopewell, Robbie Birchett and his wife, Jennifer of Prince George, one sister, Mary Thompson of Hopewell and 7 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 7, 2004 from 7:00 to 8:30PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Oshel Bell, pastor of Free Will Baptist Church in West Virginia officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
