Pal Mira Caudill

Pal Mira Caudill, 76, of Dinwiddie, VA passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, June 23, 2017. She was born December 28, 1940 in Letcher County Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Caudill & Minnie Sawyer Caudill; brothers, Lester Lee Caudill, Sr. and Allard Caudill; grandson, Daniel Jennings; granddaughter, Melissa Martin; nieces, Rhonda Furr and Peggy Elliot. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Hansel Caudill; daughters, Kathy “Kat” Martin, Vicky Jennings and husband Bobby; grandchildren, Daniel Martin and wife Beth, Brandon Martin, Hunter Martin, Taira Lee, Chad Caudill and wife Jessica, Courtney Cook and husband Derron, Rachel Mitchell and husband Kip; great grandchildren, Daniel “D” Martin, Jr., Caleob Martin, Shyanne Martin, Aulbrie Caudill, Raelynn Cook, Tatum Cook, Kamryn Mitchell, and Ryan Mitchell; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Mrs. Caudill lived in Hopewell for 32 years and worked at Reynolds Metal retiring after more than 30 years of faithful service. Hansel & Mira will be celebrating 54 years of marriage on Thursday, June 29 2017. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd.,Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the funeral home.
