Pamela Wray Eades

Pamela Wray Eades, 57, of Hopewell, Virginia, died on July 31, 2024. Born and raised in Prince George, VA, she was the daughter of Thomas Wray and the late Mary Hadsell Wray. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Richard E. Eades; sons, Richard I. Eades and Jesse R. Eades, both of Roanoke, Virginia; sisters, Debby Wray, of Roanoke VA, and Linda Newton (Bill), of Prince George, VA; many "adopted" children; and several nieces and nephews. Pamela was a loving wife and mother to her children. A selfless person with a loving heart, Pam never met a stranger. She was an excellent cook and counselor to her many "children." A memorial service will be held at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 3:00 pm. The family will receive friends following the service, until 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
