Pamela Ament Eastman, 48, a loving wife and mother, passed away suddenly on July 27th, 2014 in Chandler, Arizona. She was born on September 28th, 1965 in Richmond, Virginia and was a current resident of Cranberry Township, PA. Pamela is the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Ament of Richmond, VA. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, William Eastman; daughter Addison Eastman; son-in-law Jordan Stebor of Cranberry Township, PA; brothers Robert and Christopher Ament of Chesterfield County, VA; two nieces and four nephews; and many other relatives and close friends.
Pamela received her nursing degree from John Tyler College in Chester, VA and worked as a registered nurse in Richmond, VA and Pittsburgh, PA. After moving to Texas, Pamela also worked as a children’s librarian, and together with her husband and daughter, became a foster parent to several young children. Years later, Pamela changed her love for art into her life’s work. She became a self-taught artist, and created many pieces for family members and local businesses. Pamela enjoyed traveling to new places, spending time at the beach, and relaxing with her family and pets. She will always be remembered for the endless compassion she gave to others.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 2PM on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral home located at 3050 West Hundred Road, Chester, VA 23831. Family will recieve friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, Pamela wishes for donations to be made in her name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. (
