Pamela Nesbitt Frazier

December 1, 1952 — August 11, 2021

Pamela Nesbitt Frazier, 68, of Hopewell, VA, gained her angel wings on August 11, 2021. Her favorite singer/songwriter, Willie Nelson says, “There is only one map in the journey of life and it lives within your heart.” She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Dick Frazier; grandson, Justin Harris; parents, Howard and Alice Nesbitt; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Vance Johnson; sister, Tina Wray; and brother-in-law, Clyde Bennett. She is survived by her son, Ricky and wife, Robyn; daughter, Tammy and husband, Danny; grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley, Boo Boo, Cherokee, Lacey, and step-grandson, Justin; great-grandchildren, AJ, Gracey, Everett, Caiden, Aubrii, Bradon, and Emery; sister, Sandy Bennett; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special family friends. “Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy.”
As she was retired from Nabisco, Inc., she spent the majority of her time following her passion of gardening and being a loving and devoted Mama, Grandma, and GiGi. Her adored canine companions, Hot Rod and Girlie, are devastated by their loss and will bravely try to carry on without their mommy. “Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.”
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the J.T. Morriss & Son Hopewell Chapel, on Monday, August 16, 2021 from 6-8 pm. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Appomattox Cemetery. “This is not a goodbye, this is a thank you. Thank you for being in my life and giving me joy. Thank you for loving me and receiving my love in return. Thank you for the memories I will cherish forever.” Condolences can be registered online at www.jtmorriss.com .
