Pamela Kaye Minor

On May 11, 2023, Pamela Kaye Minor of Disputanta, Virginia received her wings and went to glory to walk with the angels. She was 76 years old. Pam was born on November 11, 1946 in Langdell, Alabama. She was involved with the church her entire life and anyone that knew her knows that her faith in the Lord was strong. She was a military wife so everywhere the family moved to she was sure to find a church home for her family. There were only three things that she loved the most: the Lord, her family and her friends. She held several positions in their home church, First Baptist Church in Perry, Georgia before making their final move to Disputanta, Virginia where she attended Oakland Baptist Church. She worked with the Army Civil Service for 20+ years in Germany, Fort Benning, Fort Bragg and then retired at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Pam is survived by her loving and faithful husband of 57 years, Kenton Howard Minor; her son, Kevin Howard Minor (Tracy Minor); her daughter, Kristin Minor Heath (Beverly Heath, Jr.) her grandchildren, McKenzie Minor, Alexis Gifford (Parker Gifford), Nolan Heath, and Kegan Minor; and her great-granddaughter, Everleigh Gifford. She is predeceased by her mother, Hazel Roberts. A celebration of a life well lived will be held at Oakland Baptist Church in Disputanta, Virginia on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 6:00 pm.
