Pamela Webb

Pamela Lynn Gillenwater Webb, age 55, a former resident of Hopewell, passed away Monday, January 23, 2012 at her home in Morgantown, WV. Born in Charleston, WV, she was the daughter of the late Rex and Mildred McGinnis Gillenwater. While residing in Hopewell, Mrs. Webb was a member of First United Methodist Church and an active volunteer in the community. She was devoted to her children and others, serving as president of the PTOâ??s at Harry E. James and Dupont Elementary Schools at the same time. She was also a cheerleading coach with the Hopewell Quarterback League for 10 years. Mrs. Webb is survived by her husband, Hopewell native and former school teacher, Uncus Carlton Webb, Jr.; daughters, Kerra Jo Kopalchick Miller, Ashley Michelle Kopalchick, Staci Marie Webb, and Jennifer Peyton Webb; 12 grandchildren; step-sons, Andrew Carlton Webb, Kevin Dale Webb, and Daniel Rives Webb; sister, Lenora Sutphin; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 27th at the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
