Patricia Ann Burgess

Patricia Ann Burgess, 63, of Chester, VA, passed away on March 7, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Evelyn Hamlet; she was also preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Hamlet. She is survived by her son, Richard Burgess; brother, Michael Hamlet and wife, Therese; sister-in-law, Cynthia Hamlet; nephews, Robert Hamlet and Daniel Hamlet; nieces, Tina Hamlet and Jennifer Castellanos; great-nephews, Brayden Francisco and Austin Castellanos; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Patricia retired from Lucy Corr after more than 18 years of service. She loved cooking, her dogs, and spending time with her family and friends. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., on Friday, March 15, 2024, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
