Patricia C Davis

Patricia "Pat" Davis passed away on February 20, 2022, comfortably at her mother's home. She was born on December 25, 1951 in Hopewell, Virginia. She was a graduate of Thomas Dale High School, Class of 1970.

She was married to Lewis "Bookie" Davis in 1970 and had their daughter, Wendy, in 1976. They shared 51 happy years of memories together.

Pat worked for the Hopewell School System at Dupont Elementary School as a teacher's aide for 29 years. She touched the hearts and minds of many students who remained in touch with her throughout the years.

Pat enjoyed spending time at the family's beach home in Carova Beach, North Carolina, where she volunteered for the fire department and women's auxiliary for many years. When she was home, she liked spending time with friends playing cards. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and her two Dalmatians, Ellie, and Lexi.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Cabaniss. She leaves behind her mother, Alice Cabaniss; husband, Lewis "Bookie" Davis; daughter, Wendy Stueber; son-in-law, Rob Stueber; her beloved pets; and extended family.

A memorial service will be held on March 5, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Enon Church of God located at 900 Enon Church Road, Chester, VA 23836. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her name to Corolla Wild Horse Fund, 1130 E Corolla Village Road, Corolla, NC 27927 or through their Facebook page.
