Patricia Ann Griffith

Patricia Ann Tudor Griffith, 86, of Hopewell passed away Monday, August 19th surrounded by her family after a lengthy but courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Born July 28, 1933 in Halifax Co, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina to Julie Elizabeth Cook and James Tudor. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Raymond E. Griffith Sr and her sister, Mary Tudor Klonis. She is survived by her devoted children, Raymond E Griffith, Jr (Carol) and Julie Griffith Ashmore (Michael), two grandchildren who she adored, Lori Ashmore Condit (Matthew) and Joseph M. Ashmore and two beautiful great granddaughters, Avery Ann Condit and Abigail Paige Condit.
A devoted, kind, generous fun loving Mother and Grandmother, who loved us all unconditionally, her presence will be forever missed. We take comfort knowing she has been reunited with the love of her life, what a glorious reunion!
Visitation will be Friday, August 23, 2019, 1:00 p.m., at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, where a service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Appomattox Cemetery.
