Patricia L. Grise

Patricia “Patsy” L. Grise, 74, of Hopewell, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 after a long battle with breast cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rose Luck, and her father, Benjamin Luck. Patsy was a graduate of Hopewell High School Class of 1962. She worked at Fort Lee for several years before becoming a stay at home mom. Her life consisted of her family and helping anyone in need. She is survived by her loving husband, Vince Grise; children, Michael Grise, Alison Lawson, Shelley Grise Warthan and her husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Brennan Grise, Ethan Rotz, Alexandra “Ali” Lawson; sister, Sandra Marr; a lifelong friend for over 60 years, Brenda Todd; a special friend, Janet Antol; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family, and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 23, 2018 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Nazareth Lutheran Church, 1711 Grant St, Hopewell, VA 23860, with interment to follow in Appomattox Cemetery.
