Patricia Henderson

Patricia Blaha Henderson, 66, of Hopewell, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. She was President of the Hopewell Federated Womanâ??s Club; and a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Hopewell, where she was the current Clerk of Session. Mrs. Henderson was an avid supporter of the Hopewell High School Athletics Program. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Henderson; her parents, Frank and Virginia Brown Blaha; and brothers, Frank Blaha and Clyde Drexel Blaha. She is survived by her son, Patrick Henderson and wife Jenny; daughter, Patrice Paden and husband Rob; grandchildren, Stacey, Ray, and Taylor; sister, Marie Pearson and husband Sonny; brother, Ronald M. Blaha; and numerous other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church in Hopewell, with Dr. Ronald K. Bullis officiating. Interment will follow at Appomattox Cemetery.
