Patricia Jones

Patricia Field Jones, 84, of Hopewell, died Monday, December 29, 2008 at Riverview on the Appomattox . She was born in Bedford.. Mrs. Jones was the daughter of the late Moorman and Edna Sperry Field and the widow of Horace Clinton Jones. She was a retired secretary from Firestone, a member of the First Baptist Church, a graduate of Bedford High School and Phillips Secretarial School in Lynchburg, Virginia. She is survived by a son, David Neale Jones and wife, Connie, two daughters, Lynn J. Sulc and husband James K. Sr., and Ann J. Burkey and husband, Justin, Jr., seven grandchildren, Katie J. Cockrum and husband, Devon, Sheri L. Jones, James K. Sulc, Jr. and wife Mary Cabell, Kendall P. Burkey, Jordan E. Burkey, Matthew C.Sulc, and Lauren S. Hruska and husband, Bobby, two great-grandchildren, James Keith Sulc III and Isabelle C. Hruska , a brother, Thomas S. Field and wife, Jackie, of Bedford, Virginia and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg.
