Patricia Moore

Patricia Ann Moore, of Smithfield, VA passed away Sunday, December 24, 2006. She was born November 9, 1942 in Los Angeles, California. She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Laufer Neumann. Patricia was a Registered Nurse for over 30 years and worked in Intensive Care Units in VA, GA, and FL. Patâ??s dedication to nursing was evident by her extensive volunteer work with Big Sisters of Tampa and Healthcare for the Homeless in GA. After retirement, she volunteered with the Surry Free Clinic. Patâ??s lifelong passion was collecting china, crystal and glass. Last year she traveled to Waterford, Ireland with her daughters, where she was able to add to her collection. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Gerry Moore; daughter, Jolynne Carter of Richmond; grandchildren, Justin, Alex and Brittany Carter, all of Richmond; brothers, Gary Neumann of MI, Richard and Donna Neumann of HI, Doug and Debbie Neumann of FL; sister, Linda and Steve MacDonald of CO; her father, Arthur Neumann, 92 years of age; sister-in-law, Eva Kaye Hovarter; numerous nieces and nephews, special friends, and her faithful pets, Dixie and Bojangles. Memorial services to be announced. The Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service are serving the family.
