Patricia Mason Taylor

Patricia Mason Taylor, 71, of Carson, VA, widow of Raymond D. Taylor, Sr., died Thursday, November 17, 2016. Born in Roanoke Rapids, NC, she was the daughter of the late Richard Mathew and Elizabeth Mae Harrell Mason. She was also preceded in death by a brother, James R. Mason. Mrs. Taylor was a lifelong member of Fort Grove United Methodist Church in Stony Creek and a retired employee of Bank of Southside Virginia. She is survived by her children, Amy T. Thomas and R. Douglas Taylor, Jr.; sisters, Marilyn M. Harrup and Nina M. Lemocks (Gene); brother, Gordon W. Mason; grandchildren, Tricia Thomas and Courtney Thomas. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2016 at Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fort Grove UMC, P.O.
