Patricia Ann Moore, 43, of Chesapeake, passed away on March 23, 2009. Born on April 28, 1965 and raised in Wakefield, she was the daughter of the late Robert Henry and Lois Pittman Wells. She was lifelong member of Millfield Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of three years, Jon Gary Moore. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, wife and sister and also survived by two daughters, Candice Cobb, and her husband, Adam of Staunton, Victoria Swinson and her boyfriend, Mike of Chesapeake; a son, Robert Swinson of Ivor; a granddaughter, Jordan Cobb; a sister Mary Dickerson; a brother, Charles Wells; and several nieces, nephews and great nieces.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 3:OO PM at the Purviance Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Wakefield. Burial will follow in Mill Swamp Church Cemetery in Ivor. The family will receive friends at the home of Mary Dickerson, 5291 Proctors Bridge Rd., Ivor VA 23866 on Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society/ Franklin Unit, 717 Fairview Dr., Franklin, VA 23851. Condolences may be posted at www.jtmorriss.com .
