Patricia Diane Whitt "Diane"

Diane Whitt, 63, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Patricia Jarratt; and was also preceded in death by her son, Russell Whitt.

Diane graduated from Old Dominion University in 1982. After receiving her education, Diane started her career as a registered nurse, and she spent over 40 years in the healthcare field. In her free time, she enjoyed trips to the beach and mountains with her husband. And above all, her family meant the most to her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Diane is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Robert Whitt; daughter, Lora Smith; son, Robert Whitt III and wife, Allie; daughter, Courtney Bishop and husband, Logan; grandchildren, Taylor Smith, Ella and Freya Whitt, and Andrew Bishop; brother, Carlton Jarratt and wife, Donna; nephews, Nick and J.P. Jarratt; and extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 27, 2023, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 1:00 PM, at Readville Baptist Church, 20158 Courthouse Road, Stony Creek, VA 23882. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
