Patsy Jones Emerson

Patsy Jones Emerson, 77, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023. Born in Richmond, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Harry Gilmer and Mattie Jones. she was also preceded in death by her husband , Donald Lee Emerson; and a brother, Harry Jones.
Patsy and her husband Don loved spending time on the water in their boat "Overboard". She had retired from the Unites States Postal Service as a mail carrier in Chester, Virginia after 28 years of dedicated service.
Mrs. Emerson is survived by her son, Rusty Emerson; her daughter, Kim Harris and husband Doug; and two granddaughters, Hayley and Linsay.
A private family graveside service will be held in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Virginia. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
