Paul Eugene Cyr

Paul Eugene Cyr, 58, of Disputanta, raised in Madawaska, Maine, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Cyr and his sister, Louise Brown. Paul received his associates degree and worked in sales at Colonial Chevrolet. He served honorably in the United States Army for 24 years, attaining the rank of Sergeant Major. He was awarded both the Bronze Star and the Legion of Merit during his time in the military. Paul also enjoyed hockey and motorcycle events, and was a member of the Combat Veteran's Motorcycle Association. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Dana Mohr; daughters, Ciara Cyr and Erica Cyr; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Chantal, Dezarae, and Christian; mother, Joan Cyr; sister, Jean Nugent and husband John; nephews, Stephen Nugent, Taylor Brown, Aidan Mohr, Quinn Mohr, and Asher Mohr; niece, Grace Mohr; mother-in-law, Dottie Mohr; father-in-law, Frank Mohr; and brothers-in-law, Mike Brown and Michael Mohr and wife, Lisa. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 1 PM at J.T. Morriss & Son - Petersburg, 103 S. Adams Street.
