Paul David Dubovsky

Paul David Dubovsky, 73, of Disputanta, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Joseph Dubovsky and Elizabeth Lipchak Dubovsky; brother, Andrew Joseph Dubovsky; and sister, Mary D. Nye.

Paul received his associates degree at John Tyler Community College prior to starting work at DuPont Tazing as a boiler mechanic. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Bohemia. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew him.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 17.5 years, Betty Vlk Stewart Dubovsky; his son, George Dubovsky (Janet) of Maryland; granddaughter, Ava Mary; siblings, Sister Margaret Ann (a nun in Bolivia), as well as Martha D. Young (Bill) of Massachusetts and Nancy Collins; and brother, Robert Dubovsky (Phyllis) of Disputanta.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 9300 Community Lane, South Prince George, VA 23805. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
