Paul F. Dunbar, 83, of Disputanta, widower of Patricia Dunbar, died Thursday, September 2, 2004 in MCV Hospital. He was born in Chuckey, TN and was the son of the late George D. and Rose May Broyles Dunbar. He was a graduate of Washington College and attended East Tennessee State University. He was a U. S. Army Veteran of WW II and was a Deacon at Second Presbyterian Church. Mr. Dunbar and his wife owned and operated Dunbar L. P. Gas Service and Spring Garden Mobile Home Park. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Ann Dunbar of Colonial Heights; two grandsons, Michael Dunbar of Prince George and Jared Dunbar of Springfield, VA; and a sister, Madge McCurry of Chuckey, TN. A private service will be held in Southlawn Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Second Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, the American Diabetes Association or the Prince George Volunteer Emergency Crew.
