Paul Andrew Hoylman, 83, of Dinwiddie County, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2004 at his residence. A native of Alderson, W.VA, he was a son of the late Russell B. and Leona Lands Hoylman. He was a U. S. Navy veteran, serving during WWII aboard the USS New Jersey, and a retired painter for Roger Jones Painting. Mr. Hoylman was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Ellen Hoylman; three sons, Timothy, Russell, and Donnie Hoylman; and a son-in-law, Carter Andrews. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. “Pat” Hoylman; four sons, Jack Ingraham and wife Joyce of Colonial Heights, Richard Hoylman and wife Sue, Dennis Hoylman and wife Carolyn, and Paul Hoylman and wife Kim all of Dinwiddie; three daughters, Mary Owen and husband Joseph E., Sr., Gennie Williams and husband Ronnie, and Pattie Andrews all of Dinwiddie; a brother, Don Hoylman of Hickory, N. C.; two sisters, Evelyn Deal of Louisburg, W.VA and Martha Sams of Maryland; 21 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Maurice Hancock officiating. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
