Paul Michael "Mike" Sebra, 77, of Chester, VA, passed away on April 14, 2024. He is preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Linda J. Sebra; son, Jason Paul Sebra; as well as his father, Paul M. Sebra; and grandmother - who was motherly to him, Sara Sebra.
Paul was born in Heathsville, VA. Graduating from Northumberland High School, he also received a machinist operations certificate through John Tyler Community College. His accomplishments continued as he bravely served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. While he worked for Wrigley Gum and Phillip Morris for many years; Paul was a long-time member of the Chester Baptist Church where he proudly served as a deacon. An avid Dallas Cowboys fan, he also enjoyed Blazing Saddles movies and trail walking for hours upon hours. "How about that."
Paul is survived by his two brothers, Leonard and Mark; other family members including, Arthur Smith and his wife, Charolotte, and their children; the most beautiful grandboy, Benjamin Sebra; along with a large group of first cousins from the Sebra-Jackson-Smith families; half-sister, Hayley Lindsey; and close friends, Tina Hurdle and Virginia Williamson.
A funeral service will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 11AM, the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital or the VCU Children Center for Autism.
