Paula Perez

Paula Perez, age 82, of Ponce PR, died on Thursday, August 24, 2006 in Claremont, VA. She was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico in April of 1924, the daughter of the late Jose M. Perez and Concepcion Gordian. She worked as a Nursing Assistant, Kindergarten Teacher, and Property Owner/Manager, all in the Ponce area. She is survived by a daughter, Maria Torres and her husband Juan, whom had provided care for her in their home in Claremont since December of 2005; two sons, Juan Thillet and wife Myrna of New York City, NY and Jose Thillet; two grandchildren, Yahaira Thillet and Jose Thillet; and two â??adoptedâ? children, Pedro Ortiz and Ivelisse Zayas, both of Ponce, Puerto Rico. The family will receive friends at the J. T.
