Pauline Marie Hill

Pauline “Ma” Marie Hill, 92, of Chester, VA passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. Born on November 7, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Ollie and Minnie McBride Myers; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph E. Hill; a daughter, Bonnie Griffith; one son, Landon Hill; and a son-in-law, Joseph “Joey” Reighard. Mrs. Hill was affectionately known as Ma to her family and enjoyed cooking, gardening and entertaining family and friends. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Reighard; two grandsons, Chris Reighard and wife, Elizabeth and Tim Reighard; three great-grandchildren, Ashton, Taylor and Remi Reighard; and a brother, David Myers. All services for Mrs. Hill will be private. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the VCU Massey Cancer Center, P.O. Box 980214, Richmond, VA 23298 in memory of Mrs. Hill.
