Pauline Georgia Hollingshead

Pauline Georgia Hollingshead, 75, of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, February 28, 2021. She was born in Baltimore, MD. Pauline was a 15-year resident at Colonial Heights Health Care Center and in her final year, a patient with Ascend Hospice. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Daniel Hollingshead and Edith Agnes Jurs Hollingshead; sister, Helen Hollingshead Pasterniak; nephew, Joseph G. Brown; sister-in-law, Judith Duray Hollingshead; and brother-in-law, Bobby Whitehurst. She is survived by her brother, John D. Hollingshead; sister, Rachel H. N. Whitehurst; and a host of nieces and nephews to include, Claude Danny Brown (Rose), Paula Myers (Dan), John Hollingshead (Elisa), Jody Barkman (Matt), Nathan Nester (Kristian), Kevin Nester, and Teresa Derosie (Brent). She will be dearly missed. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held privately at Meadowridge Memorial Park, Elkridge, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to Colonial Heights Health Care Center, 831 E.
