Pauline Mikos

Pauline Doris Mikos, 83, of Chester died peacefully at her home on June 22, 2011, surrounded by her family and friends. She was born in Cly, Pennsylvania on December 23, 1927 to Hiram and Nellie Lauer. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years John S. Mikos, son Dennis Mikos (Sharon), daughter Diane Martenis (Robert), and son David Mikos (Amy) and her two beloved grandchildren Bailey and Garrett Mikos along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was a homemaker first and later was employed with the A & P Supermarket chain. Pauline was very loving and caring, with her family being the light of her life. We would like to thank her family members and numerous friends for their love and support, especially Art and Chris Winbourne, Richard and Francis Wooten, Nicholas Pride, John Raber, Bill and Sue Cook, Carol Smith, Rosemarie Adkins, Nickie Trayer and Zoda Lauer. And, to caregivers Thelma Adams and Terry Carrillo, our love and appreciation for the outstanding and gentle care they provided during her illness. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, 23831. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, June 29, at 10 a.m. with interment afterward in the Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, 23831.
