Pearlie Sr.

Pearlie Elton Lee, Sr., 88, of Hopewell died Sunday, July 16, 2006. He was born in Mt. Olive, NC the son of the late Pearlie Allie & Mary Quinn Lee. Mr. Lee was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Stillman Lee and a brother John Randolph Lee. He is survived by four children Elizabeth Hartbarger and her husband Earl of Toccoa, GA, Elton â??Butchâ? Lee, Jr. and his wife Carole Robertson of VA Beach, Donna Haddon and her husband Tom of Nags Head, and Joyce Holmes of Chester; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister Margaret Lee Holland and husband Carey of Dallas, TX. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 18th at 9:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends tonight at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service from 6 to 8 PM. Flowers are welcome or the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
