Peggy Eure

Peggy D. Eure, 75, of Chester formerly of Hopewell, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012. She was a longtime member of West End Presbyterian Church in Hopewell. Mrs. Eure enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, K.C. and Blanche Clay Cain; her first husband, Albert Zuckero; and her second husband, Gene Eure. Mrs. Eure is survived by her sons, Cary Zuckero and his wife Janet, and Alan Zuckero and his wife Peggy; grandchildren, Jeremy, Laura, Rachel, Olivia, and Mary Grace; sisters, Charlotte Seitz and her husband Emil, and Leetha Hodnett; and numerous other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park in Petersburg, VA.
