Peggy Jean Johnson

Peggy Jean Johnson, 67, of Hopewell, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, William S. Davis, Sr. and Peggy Hasty Davis; her sister, Doris Colbert; and her brother, Tommy Davis. Peggy was a long time member of First Congregational Christian Church. She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Jo Dayvault and her husband, Danny; her sister, Sarah A. Pruett and her husband, Keith; her brother, William S. Davis, Jr.; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Appomattox Cemetery.
