Peggy Darnell Johnson

Peggy Darnell Johnson, 69, of Disputanta, VA, passed away on November 19, 2013. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Marshall Herbert and Mildred Louis Turner Barksdale. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Walter “Tommy” Johnson; three daughters, Sheila Drown, Betsy Gibson and Linda Wells Springstube; two sons, Nelson and Karl “Bubba” Harvey; two step-children, Greg and Karen Speace; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2013 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA., with the Rev. Robert Livesay, officiating.
