Peggy Porter Williams

Peggy Porter Williams, 69, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord Saturday, June 23, 2018. She was born in Richmond, VA, to the late Clarence and Ethel Porter. Peggy was a member of the Crater Chapter 1399 AARP of Petersburg. She was preceded in death by siblings, Rose Cook and Roger Porter. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Wayne Randolph “Randy” Williams; children, Sherry Smith, Karen Painter, and Deanna Compton; grandchildren, Anthony Smith, Brannon Mayo, Brent Dickerson, Steven Compton, Desirae Compton, Riley Painter, and Breanna Bridgers; great-grandchild, Kaylee Smith; siblings, Kenneth Porter, Rebecca Richards, and Joyce Culliton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Funeral Home.
