Percy Daulton

Percy Clarke Daulton, 83, of Church Road, passed away Monday, May 3, 2004 at his residence. A lifelong resident of the area, he was the son of the late Samuel B. and Ollie Davis Daulton. He was a long time farmer and retired carpenter. Mr. Daulton was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Daulton and a grandson, Kevin Daulton. He is survived by his wife, Ella W. Daulton; two sons, Glen L. Daulton of Wilsons and Larry Daulton of Church Road; five grandchildren, Tammy Lewis of Petersburg, Teresa Hawkes of Church Road, Jamie Daulton of Dinwiddie, Justin Daulton, and Jerry Daulton both of Colonial Heights; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Sally Rowland of Hopewell; two brothers, Orey Daulton and Abner Daulton both of Church Road. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 Thursday evening at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2004 in the Mausoleum at Southlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Joyce Harville officiating.
