Phaly Tol

Phaly Tol, 45, of Chester, VA passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017. He was born in 1971 in Battambang, Cambodia, a son of Kane Kong and Nang Tol. He was preceded in death by his father, Kane Kong; brother, Synath Tol; and a baby sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Rebecka Haden Tol; daughters, Ananda Tol, and Lucia Tol; sons, Nicholas Tol, Canaan Tol, and Xander Tol; mother, Nang Tol; sisters, Koliyarn Kong, Jenda Kong-Bellus, and Syna Lao; brother, Vereak Tol; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Mr. Tol received his Bachelor’s Degree from Nyack College in New York. He then went on to serve as Program Director at J&D Residential and Day Support here in Chesterfield. Mr. Tol had a strong Christian Faith and attended Swift Creek Baptist Church in Colonial Heights. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 .m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tol Children’s Education Fund.
