Philip James (PJ) Davis, 33 of Hopewell, VA, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020 and was the son of Timothy and Dreama Davis. He was born in Hopewell, VA. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Philip and Pat Hios. PJ is survived by his daughter, Olivia Davis and her mother, Sophia; Brother, Nate Davis; Niece, Lacy Davis; Grandparents James and Dora Davis. He was a devoted son, father, brother and friend to many. PJ loved writing and creating music with his cousin Chris Hios and produced many albums. He was a talented drummer and used his talent for the Lord playing at City Restoration Church of God. His number one love was His Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He also loved his church family and extended family. He poured many countless hours and love for his daughter Olivia. She was always a priority for him and his legacy will live on through her. He was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan and loved watching them play with his dad and brother. PJ and his brother, Nate took a few road trips to Kentucky to watch them play. He enjoyed his job and co-workers at Amazon. He will be missed by so many. In honor of PJ’s memory, you are invited to wear royal blue to funeral. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 14, 2020 at City Point Restoration Church of God, 2300 Bluefield St, Hopewell, VA. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the City Point Restoration Church of God, 2300 Bluefield St, Hopewell, VA with interment follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
