Phillip Melvin Chappell, Jr., 76, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020. Born in Petersburg, VA he was the son of the late Phillip M. Chappell, Sr. and Merle H. Chappell; and was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years, Jean Lewis Chappell. Mr. Chappell had worked for Miller & Rhodes and went on to retire from McKesson as a computer operator. He enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR races with his daughter. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. Mr. Chappell is survived by his daughter, Lindsey A. Brown and husband, Chris; a brother, Wayne Chappell and wife, Cindy; two sisters, Shirley Warren and Janice Smith; a grand dog, Rowdy; and numerous loving extended family and friends.
