Phyllis Ann Brockwell

Phyllis Ann Brockwell, 79, of Petersburg, passed away on Wednesday October 24, 2012. Born in Carson, Virginia she was the daughter of the late William H. “Frec” and Catherine Wilkins Bragg. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Phyllis was an avid fisherman and golfer and loved to watch it snow. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Garland Brockwell, Jr; sister, Susan Mills; sister-in-law, Linda Elmore; and her loving canine companion, Trevor. She is survived by one son, John W. Brockwell and wife, Teresa, of Petersburg; one daughter, Laura B. Eure and husband, Charles “Wesley”, of Gloucester, Virginia; grandchildren, Caitlin R. Brockwell, Ryan W. Eure, and C. Logan Eure; brother-in-law, Lew Mills; three nephews, Brandt and Berkley Schraner, and Rusty Elmore; and a niece, Ginger Finch. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday October 31, 2012 at Christ & Grace Episcopal Church. Interment will be private.
