Phyllis Holt

Phyllis Ann Holt, 75 of Hopewell, died April 9, 2009. She was a life-long resident of Hopewell. She was employed at John Randolph Medical Center in the house keeping department and was a member of the choir at First Baptist Church. Miss Holt was preceded in death by her parents Horace Taylor and Virginia Lipscomb Holt. Surviving are two sisters, Anita Holt Olive and Paige Holt Parr and husband Donald of Hopewell, three nephews, Donald W. Parr Jr. and wife Diane, Michael K. Parr and wife, Jennifer, Kevin W. Parr and wife Michelle, two nieces, Terri D. Grossi and Heather D. Dexter and husband Scott, aunts, Margaret R. Lipscomb, Kathryn H. Belcher, Joyce S. Holt, Ethel Lipscomb, several cousins and great nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 2:00pm in Appomattox Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Raymond, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church 401 N.2nd Avenue Hopewell, VA. 23860.
