Phyllis Long Ringler, 74 of Prince George died Wednesday, October 24, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Ringler was born in Hopewell and had been a lifelong resident of this area. She was the daughter of the late W. Roy and Drucilla Titterington Long. Mrs. Ringler is survived by her husband, James G. Ringler of Prince George, three daughters, Teresa R. Moore and her husband Doug of Matoaca, Rebecca N. Hayes, Sharon N. Allen and her husband Jack, all of Hopewell, two sons, William K. Nash of Hopewell, Walton C. Nash of Bedford, VA, a sister, Mercelene L. Davis and her husband Dave of Louisville, KY, a brother, Ron Long of Conway, SC, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 25, 2007 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 26, 2007 at 2:30 PM in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George County, with Graham Patterson, Chaplain of Crater Community Hospice officiating.
