Phyllis Marie Schrum

Phyllis Marie Schrum, 73, of Chesterfield, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2015. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Bruce Allen and Margaret Overby Elder. Some of Phyllis’ favorite activities were throwing darts and dancing. She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Warren; son, Eddie Bruce and his wife, Terijo; grandson, Wesley Warren; two brothers, Bruce Elder and Tommy Elder; sister, Elizabeth Moore; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 103 S. Adams St, Petersburg, VA 23803.
