Polly Moody

Polly Perkins Moody, 91, of Dinwiddie, passed away at her residence on June 12, 2011. She was the daughter of the late George and Eva Clements Perkins, and was also preceded in death by her husband, George Benjamin Moody, Jr. She was a very dedicated member of Western Heights Baptist Church, where she previously served as a Sunday school teacher. She had a love for all animals. Mrs. Moody is survived by two daughters, Debbie Seidel and husband, Howard, Belinda Inge and husband, Jim Daniel; two granddaughters, Michelle â??Buffyâ? Layne, and Amy Ruddick; three great-grandchildren, Aaron and Mallie Ruddick, and Dawson Layne; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Western Heights Baptist Church, 24416 Cox Rd., Petersburg, Va. 23803. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, at the church with the Rev. Jonathan Dundalow officiating. Interment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George.
