Priscilla Jones Braswell

Priscilla Jones Braswell, 85, of Hopewell, VA, died September 7, 2023. Born in Northumberland County, VA, and raised in Hopewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late Howard N. Jones, Sr. and Flossie T. Jones. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jack Braswell, Sr.; daughters, Terri Weaver and Merri Braswell; son, J. Thomas Braswell, Jr.; grandchildren, C.J. Weaver and Elizabeth Weaver; great-grandchild, James Weaver; a brother, Howard Jones, Jr.; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at West End Presbyterian Church, 1600 Atlantic Street, Hopewell. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park in South Prince George. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at West End Presbyterian Church.
