Rachel Snead

Rachel Adams Snead, age 67, of Richmond, VA, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2008. Born in Danville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Jabez W. and Elsie Moore Adams. Mrs. Snead was a member of Faith Heritage Church of God for approximately eight years, and a licensed L.P.N., practicing in Danville and the greater Richmond area for approximately 30 years. She was a loving and giving person and had many friends as a result of her kindness. Mrs. Snead is survived by her husband, Stewart G. Snead; brothers, Willie C. Adams and wife Nancy, and Ronnie L. Adams and wife Irene; a sister, Jane A. Cumbea and husband Russell, all of Chesterfield, VA; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held there on Thursday at 1 p.m., with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park.
