Rachel A. Williams

Rachel Ann Williams, 77, of Colonial Heights, passed away on October 6, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Daniel B. and Edith Toney Rice, and was also preceded in death by her husband, Preston Williams; four sisters, and one brother. Mrs. Williams loved to fish and play Bingo at the American Legion Post. She was a member of Woods United Methodist Church in Matoaca, VA. She is survived by four sisters, Margaret Patterson, Peggy Stephens, Joyce Andrews, and Grace Crowe and husband, Guy; four brothers, Robert Rice, Henry Rice, Wayne Rice and wife, Diane, and James Rice; and a host of loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2012 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, VA.
