Rachel Worrell

Rachel Ercelle Spain Worrell, 90, 0f Hopewell, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009 in Waverly, VA. Mrs. Worrell was born in Prince George County and was a resident of this area most of her life. She was a retired inspector with Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company. . She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Epps and Cora Lee Cabiness Spain, her husband Cleve W.Worrell, a sister Dorothy Hudson, a grandson, Donnie Callis, Jr. . Surviving are her son, Richard Toney of Prince George, two daughters, Brenda L. Wagner of Hopewell and Patsy A .Emory of Petersburg , fourteen grandchildren, .numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 2-4:00 pm in the Hopewell Chapel of J T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 7, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sherman Wingate, officiating. Interment will be in Appomattox Cemetery.
