Rae Jackson

Rae Katherine Jackson, 73, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2009. She was born in Dunkirk, New York, daughter of the late Wilson Leon Derby and Irene Baldwin Derby Kelley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard W. Jackson, and son, Dennis Jackson. She is survived by her children; Robert Jackson and partner, Thomas Adams of Richmond, VA, Karen Seymore and husband, Joe of Dinwiddie, VA, Daniel Jackson of Chester, and David Jackson and wife, Kori of Gladys, VA; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Bruce Derby and wife, Dorothy of Fredonia, NY, James Derby and wife, Charmane of Cassadaga, NY, and Kenneth Kelley and wife, Tanya of Akron, OH, and other family and friends. A memorial service will be held at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at 2 p.m. A private interment will be held at a later date.
