Rae H. Thomas

Rae H. Thomas, 85, of Dinwiddie, VA, daughter of the late Mary Frances “Fannie” Meredith, and widow of William “WT” Thomas, died Thursday, October 12, 2017. She is survived by her children, Mary Ruth Thomas, David M. Thomas and wife, Kathy, and Lee Ann Thomas all of Dinwiddie, VA; grandchildren, David “Allen,” Joseph “Wayne,” and Toni Nicole Thomas; step-son, Morris C. Thomas and wife, Joyce of Alpine, AL; step-grandchildren, Terry Cottonjim and Keith Thomas; step-great-grandchild, Nicole Cottonjim. She also leaves behind numerous family members and friends. A graveside funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Ocran United Methodist Church Cemetery, Sutherland, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ocran UMC, P.O. Box 309, Sutherland, VA 23885 or to a non-profit cancer research fund of your choice. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
