Ralph Ervin Williamson

Ralph Ervin Williamson, 81, of Chester, VA passed away on February 9, 2018. Born in Eric, Oklahoma he was the son of the late Luscious Hubert and Bessie Ellis Williamson; and was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Keith Williamson; and a brother, Hubert Claude Williamson. Mr. Williamson was a United States Navy veteran and was a millwright retired from Hercules, Inc. after 35 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Permelia “Pam” Williamson; one son, Dwayne E. Williamson; four grandchildren, Jessica Finney (Sean), Justin Williamson (Maggie), and Brandy and Jacob Williamson; four great-grandchildren, Addyson, Payton, Hayden and Luke; a daughter-in-law, Donna Williamson; and one sister, Varyene Burleson. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Ivan Perkinson, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the funeral home.
