Randall "Randy" Edward Daniel

Randall “Randy” Edward Daniel, 66, S. Chesterfield, VA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 24th, 2021. Born in Oxford, NC he was the son of Margaret Daniel and the late Edward M. Daniel. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Onita E. Daniel; children Stacey Daniel, Courtney Daniel-Newman, Meredyth Daniel (Nathan Shaffer), and Jason Shelton; grandchildren Kayleigh, Raleigh; mother Margaret Daniel; brothers Steve Daniel, Bruce Daniel (Mary Daniel); brother-in-laws, Marvin Elam, Kirk Elam; sister-in-law Karen Phares; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. He worked for Allied Chemical/Honeywell for 31 years and in retirement started a successful commercial cleaning business, This That & the Other, for 15 years. Randy was also a talented artist, of which few knew. He loved to draw freehand. He also enjoyed restoring his 1969 Chevrolet Corvette. His favorite pastime was going to his beach home in Ocracoke, NC. Above all, Randy was a very devoted husband and loving father. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday March 6th, 2021 at Powers Memorial Baptist Church, 2807 Jackson St. Hopewell, VA 23860.
