Randy William Banton Sr.

Randy William Banton, Sr., 58, of Prince George, VA died on September 20, 2016. He was born on December 23, 1957 to the late William “Junie” Banton and Margaret “Snookie” Banton. He was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Lou and Lois Sprouse, brother-in-law, Will Sprouse, and close friend Jerry Flowers.
He was a 1976 graduate of Dinwiddie High School. He loved the Green Bay Packers, baseball, NASCAR, and Star Wars. He was employed by Standard Motor Products for 27 years. But most of all he loved his two boys.
He is survived by his Sons, Randy “RJ” Banton, Jr. and Brett Banton; their Mom, Tammy Sprouse Banton; cousins, Judy Lee Davis, Thomas Ross Davis, David Creech and Phyllis Fermantzis; extended family: Edith, Jessica and Michael Briggs, Jeri-Ann, Billy, Shane, Brandon and Kaitlyn Tomlin, Diane Flowers, Steve, Melody, Brad and Chad Eilert, Stephanie Early and close friend, Robbie Clark. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
